LG Uplus FY Net Income Rises 5.7%; Sales Up 5.7% on Strong Data Revenue

LG Uplus Corp. reported a 5.7% increase in full-year net income for 2025, reaching KRW 1.83 trillion, as revenue rose to KRW 14.2 trillion from KRW 13.4 trillion in the prior year, according to financial results released on January 21, 2026. The growth was driven by higher data service revenues and improved cost management across its telecommunications operations. The company attributed the performance to strong subscriber retention and expanded 5G services, particularly in enterprise and broadband segments. LG Uplus also announced plans to invest KRW 2.1 trillion in network infrastructure upgrades through 2027, aiming to enhance service quality and support future demand. Shares in LG Uplus (KRX: 032640) rose 1.8% in early trading following the release.
