Tata Communications reported a 54.3% year-on-year profit increase to 3.65 billion rupees ($39.8 million) for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, driven by strong demand for cloud services and connectivity solutions. The Mumbai-based firm also announced Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as managing director and CEO-designate, pending regulatory approval. Lakshminarayanan currently serves as managing director and group vice president for ServiceNow in India and the SAARC region. Revenue from its core data services rose 9.4% to 53.8 billion rupees, contributing to a 6.7% overall revenue growth to 61.89 billion rupees. The company aims to grow data business revenue to 280 billion rupees by fiscal year 2028 through digital infrastructure investments.
